Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Pallotta Jewelers, we stand behind the exceptional quality of our jewelry. Every piece is meticulously inspected and certified (where applicable) before shipping to ensure your satisfaction.
Returns & Exchanges
We offer the following policy for most items:
- You may request a return for refund, exchange, or store credit within 14 days of delivery (not purchase date) only on non-custom-made goods and services.
- Items must be: unused, in original condition, with all original packaging, tags, certificates, and accompanied by proof of purchase (order confirmation/receipt).
- A 10% restocking fee applies to refunds or exchanges if the security tag has been removed or if the item shows signs of wear/use.
- Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility (we recommend insured shipping for high-value items). Refunds exclude original shipping fees.
- Refunds processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days after receipt and inspection.
Final Sale Items – No Returns or Exchanges
The following are considered final sale and ineligible for return, exchange, refund, or store credit (except in cases of proven defect/manufacturing error):
- All natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, colored diamonds, and gemstones (due to market volatility and certification standards).
- Sale/clearance items.
- Engraved, personalized, custom-designed, or altered items.
Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your jewelry arrives damaged, defective, or not as described:
- Contact us immediately (within 7 days of delivery preferred) with photos and details.
- We will provide instructions for return (at our expense via prepaid label where feasible) and offer a full refund, replacement, or repair at no cost to you.
- This does not affect statutory rights under applicable law.
Important Notes for Ontario Consumers
Under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002:
- This voluntary policy supplements (but does not limit) any statutory cancellation rights (e.g., up to 7 days after receiving agreement copy if required pre-purchase disclosures were deficient, or 30 days if no compliant copy provided).
- For delayed delivery beyond a reasonable time (or 30 days if no date specified), additional cancellation rights may apply.
- Nothing in this policy waives non-waivable consumer rights under the Act.
Cross-Border / International Returns
For shipments outside Canada/US or cross-border:
- You are responsible for all return shipping, customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees.
- Original shipping/duties are non-refundable.
- We are not liable for customs delays or seizures on returns.
How to Initiate a Return
- Email [email protected] or call (905) 851-2300 / (561) 879-8479 with your order number, reason, and photos (if applicable).
- We will provide an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and instructions.
- Ship back securely (insured recommended).
- Allow 5-10 business days for inspection and processing.
