Pallotta’s Commitment to Quality
At Pallotta Jewelers, we stand behind the exceptional craftsmanship of our jewelry. This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, giving you confidence in your purchase.
Warranty Coverage
- We warrant all jewelry against defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year from the date of original purchase.
- For eligible engagement rings and select pieces (as noted on product pages), we may offer extended coverage on craftsmanship (e.g., settings/prongs) – refer to your specific item details or contact us for confirmation.
- If a covered defect is verified, we will repair the item at no charge (or replace if repair is not feasible), provided the claim is submitted within the warranty period.
What’s Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, aging, fading, or required maintenance (e.g., rhodium re-plating on white gold, professional cleanings).
- Loss of diamond/gemstone brilliance or appearance due to buildup from lotions, soaps, perfumes, skin oils, or improper care.
- Damage from accidents, misuse, abuse, negligence, impact, chemicals, extreme temperatures, fire, natural disasters, or unauthorized repairs/alterations.
- Lost stones, prongs, or components unless caused by a proven manufacturing defect.
- Any repairs, sizing, polishing, or services performed by third parties (not Pallotta).
- Shipping, customs duties, taxes, insurance, or incidental costs for warranty claims.
Warranty Claim Process
- Contact us within the warranty period via email at [email protected] or phone.
- Provide proof of purchase (receipt/order confirmation), photos of the issue, and item details.
- Ship or bring the item to one of our studios for inspection:
- Vaughan Studio: 136 Winges Rd, Vaughan, Ontario, Canada (by appointment).
- Jupiter Studio: 185 E Indiantown Rd, Jupiter, Florida, US (by appointment).
- Our team (or designated experts) will inspect and determine if the issue is a covered defect.
- Approved repairs are performed at our facilities; turnaround time varies (typically 2-6 weeks).
- For engagement rings repaired under warranty, the remaining warranty period applies post-repair (no automatic extension).
Conditions That Void the Warranty
The warranty becomes void if:
- Product identification (e.g., serial numbers, hallmarks) is removed, altered, or tampered with.
- Care and maintenance guidelines (provided at purchase or available upon request) are not followed.
- The original proof of purchase or warranty documentation is missing, altered, or incomplete.
- The item is misused or repaired by unauthorized parties.
Limitations of Liability
- This is a limited warranty: Our sole obligation is repair (or replacement at our discretion). We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental damages, or any loss beyond the repair/replacement.
- Maximum liability is limited to the original purchase price of the item.
- This warranty supplements—but does not replace—any non-waivable implied warranties or conditions under applicable law (e.g., Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002, or Florida consumer laws). Nothing here limits statutory rights that cannot be disclaimed.
- All other express or implied warranties (including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose) are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Non-Transferable
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser (as shown on the receipt) and is non-transferable. It cannot be modified, extended, or expanded by any Pallotta employee or representative.
